Release of the Nepal's DRPI Country Monitoring Holistic Report

National Federation of the Disabled - Nepal is pleased to inform you all that, during the commemoration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (2013) we are going to release the DRPI Country Monitoring Holistic Report.
In the course of commemoration of the day, a mass rally of around 3000 persons including Minister of women, children and social welfare, Government officers, DPO leaders, professionals, Persons with disabilities and parents will be organised in core city of Kathmandu. The rally joins the main function of the commemoration. The Chief organising committee is led by the Minister and secretariat if National Federation of the Disabled-Nepal.
During the occasion, the report of - Disability Rights Country Holistic Monitoring Report (2013), will be released Jointly by the President of National Federation of the Disabled-Nepal, Mr. Shudarson Subedi and the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare. The National Coordinator of the Monitoring project Mr. Birendra Raj Pokharel will present the synopsis of the report.
Further on 8th December, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, a high level meeting including Human Rights Commission, Human Rights Organisations, activists, DPOs, representatives of Government and UN System will be organised and the findings and recommendation of the holistic monitoring report will be presented. Eventually, National Federation of the Disabled has a plan to handover the report to the Convention on the roght of People with Disabilities committee through appropriate channel.
